Michael Raiter
Director
Michael Raiter is a gifted, internationally recognised speaker of the Christian faith. Born in Liverpool, England and raised in New South Wales, Australia, Mike began his career as a high school teacher in Sydney and Pakistan. He studied at Moore Theological College in Sydney, becoming the head of the Department of Missions in 1997. On concluding his study at Moore, he returned to Pakistan to teach at the Zarephath Bible Institute. Subsequently, he worked with Church Missionary Society Australia and Interserve in Pakistan. From 2006–2011, Mike served as the principal of the Melbourne School of Theology, an evangelical theological college.
Mike is currently the Director of the Centre for Biblical Preaching, an organisation that seeks to train and equip churches around the globe in expository preaching. Mike is also the author of a number of books, including Stirrings of the Soul: Evangelicals and the New Spirituality which won the 2004 SPCK Australian Christian Book of the Year Award.
MARK LO
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Mark Lo spent over 30 years of his career in the Information Technology industry both in Australia as well as internationally. He has served in senior management positions in companies such as DMR Consulting (rebranded as Fujitsu Consulting today), Unisys Corporation (Australia, Singapore as well as Corporate Headquarters in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, USA). He spent the last 11 years in a private Higher Education provider and retired as CEO and Executive Director of AMI Education, now rebranded as AAPOLY. Born in China, Mark became a Christian in his early years in HK prior to coming to Australia in the mid sixties. He worships at Grace Church of Christ, Wantirna South where he had been Chair of the Board and the Diaconate. His interests and passion in missions saw him serve as Chair of the One Mission Society Australia board for some four years. He continues to serve on the OMS Australia and Academies of Australia Polytechnic (AAPOLY) boards in Victoria.
Mark is currently responsible for the operations of the Centre for Biblical Preaching, an organisation that seeks to train and equip churches around the globe in expository preaching. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (rebranded as Institute of Managers and leaders, Australia).
KIRRILY DREW
ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR
Kirrily Drew has worked in various administration roles at the Commonwealth Bank, as well as with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students and now the Centre for Biblical Preaching.
Kirrily recently completed a Master of Divinity at Ridley College in Melbourne and now combines her role as an AFES staffworker at Monash University Christian Union with her part-time duties as the administration assistant at the Centre for Biblical Preaching.
JAKOB BRADBEER
DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Jakob Bradbeer has over three years of experience as a freelance web designer and digital media creator, and has just completed a two year traineeship at St Jude’s Anglican Church. He is passionate about the ways that good design and effective online content can equip the church and bear witness to the gospel.
Alongside other freelance projects, Jakob is currently working part time at the Centre for Biblical Preaching, managing their digital communications.
